Deli & Food Production Assistant – Guernsey

Join a busy Guernsey food business producing fresh grab-and-go food for popular local outlets. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role offering excellent weekly hours, full training and varied work across food preparation and customer service.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Preparing sandwiches, wraps, rolls, salads and other deli products.
• Supporting high-volume daily food production.
• Keeping preparation areas clean, organised and well stocked.
• Serving customers and taking orders when required.
• Working efficiently as part of a busy team.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be hard-working, reliable and comfortable in a fast-moving environment. Previous catering or food preparation experience would be useful but is not essential, as training is provided. Good spoken English, flexibility and a strong work ethic are important.

The role may particularly suit candidates on a 9-month on, 9-month off rotation or those with appropriate STEP licensing status.

The employer can assist with sourcing accommodation through local landlords, although rental costs are the employee’s responsibility.
