Events Sales Manager | Hospitality Sales Leadership | Guernsey

The Opportunity

A leading, award-winning luxury hotel is searching for an experienced Events Sales Manager. This key management position is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of event sales, ensuring conversion, smooth planning, and profitable delivery of all events.

Core Duties:
• Maximising Revenue: Supporting budgeting and forecasting, and actively driving additional revenue through upselling of ancillary services, including bedrooms and Food & Beverage offerings.

• Sales & Planning: Ensuring timely and accurate contract issuance and managing all event-related administration. Coordinating event set-up, suppliers/AV, and service requirements with operational teams.

• Financial Oversight: Coordinating credit checks, deposits, and payment terms, and ensuring accurate and timely billing for all events.

• Compliance & Standards: Maintaining hotel and brand standards across sales and delivery. Supporting event-specific risk assessments and driving continuous improvement in sales processes.

• Team Development: Holding regular one-on-ones and performance reviews, setting objectives, and coordinating training needs for the Events Sales team.

The Successful Candidate
You must possess a background in hospitality-based sales and demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and achieve targets. Strong organizational skills, the ability to maintain excellent client communication, and robust product knowledge are vital for success.
