Bartender / Server, Guernsey

Join a vibrant, independent restaurant in St. Peter Port, Guernsey who is seeking a highly professional Bartender/Server to elevate the beverage service and contribute to their welcoming guest atmosphere. This role demands strong expertise behind the bar alongside the flexibility to support full-venue service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Beverage Program: Prepare and serve all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard.
• Bar Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
• Compliance: Strictly follow all licensing laws and best practices for responsible alcohol service.
• Service Delivery: Deliver efficient, detail-oriented service, maintaining immaculate attention to detail and presentation.
• Guest Experience: Provide excellent customer service and actively create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Team Flexibility: Work collaboratively and be willing to assist on the restaurant floor during busy periods or as required by management.

Essential & Desirable Skills:
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria, essential for seamless integration and operational success:
• Essential Skills: Proven professional experience working in a bar or comparable hospitality environment, strong customer service and sophisticated communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and an immaculate presentation standard. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment is critical.
• Desirable Skills: Demonstrable expertise in cocktail or barista preparation techniques, and sound knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits.
