Chef De Partie / Junior Sous Chef, Guernsey
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie, with the potential to consider a Junior Sous Chef, to join their busy and creative kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a multicultural brigade and contribute to an exciting menu transition towards a British style with a Middle Eastern twist. A Long Term Permit is available for the right candidate, with accommodation provided.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in line with menu standards.
• Supporting the Head Chef in developing new menu items with a British and Middle Eastern influence.
• Maintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and section management.
• Working collaboratively within a diverse team to deliver excellent service during busy periods.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a quality kitchen environment, with strong communication skills and a positive, adaptable approach. Experience in Moroccan or Middle Eastern cuisine would be highly advantageous. A passion for learning and contributing to a creative menu is essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
