Supervisor, Guernsey

Our client provides a wide variety of high quality, tailored and innovative catering solutions for
travel, leisure and business industry is seeking to recruit a Supervisor for one of
their outlets on Guernsey Airport.

This role is not eligible for workers from outside of the CTA as the employer does not offer visa and work permit for this role.

Overall purpose of the role:

Delivering the best coffee experience to every guest along with the highest levels of customer service. Making and serving drinks, preparing food operating the till, maintaining stock levels, and demonstrating your product knowledge to customers by advising and making suggestions.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Be able to work independently and as part of a team, be willing to learn and ideally have experience of working in a customer facing environment.
• An eye for detail and excellent merchandising skills
• Consistently aim to get the best from the unit, as well as own team.
• Leading by example, be passionate about customer service.
• Have an understanding of Food Hygiene & H&S Regulations.
• Guiding and developing own team to serve the best in food and drinks etc.,
• Efficiently handle the administrative side of the business, including stock management, cost control and profit and loss accounts.

The successful candidate will have:

• Health & Safety Qualification
• Food Hygiene Level 1 Qualification
• Good awareness of Food Allergens
• Previous catering / hospitality experience
• Computer literate
• Financial awareness
• Knowledge of food preparation and a good understanding of what good quality food means to a customer.
• Must have 5-year work history to gain an airside pass
