Catering Assistant, Guernsey

Our client provides a wide variety of high quality, tailored and innovative catering solutions for
travel, leisure and business industry is seeking to recruit a Catering Assistant for one of
their outlets on Guernsey Airport. This role is not eligible for workers from outside of the CTA as the employer does not offer visa and work permit for this role.

Overall purpose of the role:

Making and serving drinks, preparing food, operating the till, maintaining stock levels, and demonstrating your product knowledge to customers by advising and making suggestions.

The successful candidate will be:

• Enthusiastic and have a friendly manner who can communicate confidently with the team and all customers.
• As a Catering Assistant the candidate will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, be willing to learn and ideally have experience of working in a customer facing environment. An eye for detail and excellent merchandising skills.
• Must have 5-year work history to gain an airside pass
